Editorial policy
Editorial Policy - ATS Signal
How ATS Signal creates, checks, and corrects its resume and ATS guides, including its evidence standard and AI-assisted drafting disclosure.
ATS Signal publishes practical guides about applicant tracking systems, resume writing, and job-search workflows. Our goal is to be useful, specific, and honest about what a browser-based scan can and cannot know.
Originality and quality gate
Guides are written for this site rather than copied from another publication. Each guide and role page must pass a build-time quality gate: required sections, examples, FAQs, internal links, and factual caveats. Passing the gate means the page is cleared for publication; it does not mean an independent human expert has verified every sentence. The publisher remains responsible for corrections.
Evidence and sourcing
Where we describe how ATS software works, we rely on public documentation, vendor help centers, and observable hiring practices. We do not claim to have tested every ATS product. When a claim is an estimate or a heuristic, we say so. We do not invent statistics, credentials, authors, or interview probabilities.
AI-assisted drafting
We may use AI tools to help draft, outline, or edit content. The current workflow is AI-assisted and uses a build-time quality check; it is not a claim of independent human expert review. A named human editor and external review are planned as the site grows. The resume checker itself uses deterministic rules, not a generative model, and it does not send resumes to an AI service.
Corrections
If you find a factual error or a broken instruction, email ghaffour2019@gmail.com with the page URL and a reliable source. We will review the claim and update the page when warranted. Significant corrections will be noted in the page's update date.
Independence
We are not affiliated with an ATS vendor, a resume-writing service, or a job board. If we add an affiliate link or sponsored placement in the future, we will label it clearly. Sponsorship does not buy a positive recommendation.
What we do not do
- We do not guarantee interviews or job offers.
- We do not provide legal, immigration, or licensed career-counseling advice.
- We do not encourage keyword stuffing, hidden text, or false credentials.
- We do not publish another person's resume or personal data without permission.
